I have a general question, every time I release the RD to remove it from the mount, the pivot screw loosens and I need to tighten it. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I have my Escort 9500ix mounted in a 2007 Toyota Prius. Right, who knew the Prius went fast enough to worry about the need for a radar detector? Anyway, because the windshield of the Prius is set at such a shallow angle the leading edge of the detector is still 8 inches back from the windshield glass. Because of this, (or at least this is my interpretation), the auto brightness setting on the detector does not seem to effectively sense the ambient light falling on it and so acts as if it is perpetually . . .

What year Jetta's does the Blendmount
p/n BV1-2003 fit? I purcahsed one in October of 2011 for a 2002 Jetta and want to purchase another one for a 2006 Jetta. They do look like the same mirror mounts, i.e.; in the 2002 and the 2006 Jetta. Thank You

I just read the install instructions you provide. I didn't see anything mentioning that you need the alcohol pad that it shows comes with the kit. I specifically don't want a stick on mount like I had before. The instructions look like it hooks in to the mirror mount and wedges between that and the windshield. What is the purpose of the alcohol swab?

The 2011 tundra appears to have the cylindrical mount. however most of it is covered by a plastic sleeve, leaving maybe 3/8" of area. The wiring is also snug to the cylinder. Has this mount been used in this application?

I just purchased a 2013 ford flex with ford my touch/sync. The mirror has a plug that looks like a large phone cord or small lan cord that plugs into the back of the mirror. There isn't the usual multiple wires. Can I use the mirror tap to install with a blendmount under the mirror?

After installing Blendmount & V1 in 2010 Lexus IS 250, I am unable to get detector to point straight ahead with the mirror adjusted to my seating position. It points to the right about 15 degrees. Is there something I am missing to adjust?

I am interested in using this mirror on my 2006 Jetta. The existing mirror is removed by twisting it 90 degrees. The windshield attachment however is a smallish round thing. Could your mirror use the existing attachment?
Perhaps the mirror could be mounted on the ball (mirror) end of the stock attachment arm. Is that a possibility?

Have a 2010 Toyota Tacoma Double-Cab. Where is the cable run? Do I have to remove the headliner, dash components or anything else to snake the cable? Thx.

Bought BlendMount 3 years ago for my 03 infiniti g35. Sold the car, and took the mount off, but now I can't find one of the two screws that hold the top semicircular metal piece that goes over the mirror shaft. Any chance I could buy replacement screw? Please email me for the photo.
